Due to crazy rain and flooding early last year, Todd and Renee had to find a new venue to have their wedding with only a few weeks to spare. The venue they had organised pretty much got flooded, then burned to the ground! Eip!
Luckily, they stumbled upon the beautiful Hillstone St Lucia, who were completely accommodating, helped them with their wedding needs, and also helped them to offset the costs lost due to losing their original wedding venue. (What a cool bunch of people, and I might add the catering at Hillstone is to die for- yum!)
Todd and Renee it was great being a part of your wedding day! We will look forward to catching up with you shortly to give you your beautiful wedding album (psst, it just arrived).
Have a great day x
Duncan and Dominique were married in beautiful New Farm Park in Brisbane. It was such an amazing day, full of colour, bright smiles and amazing people. We loved sharing their wedding day with them so much so that they decided to take us on their honeymoon (Ok, well this was pre-planned!).
A couple days after the wedding, Duncan and Dominique headed over to Stradbroke Island. They had booked a gorgeous private beach house to honeymoon in. They invited us to come over for an afternoon, to take some more wedding photos, and to witness the trashing of the dress! We had SO much fun! It was great hanging out with you guys again, gasbagging, sharing strawberries and bickies… Oh and taking photos of course
Thanks for trusting us to capture your amazing wedding, it was really great to meet you guys!
Byron and Jocelyn had the perfect wintry wedding! They were married in the beautiful St Mary’s Anglican Church at Kangaroo Point in Brisbane. Trooped around Kangaroo point for some photographs (being surrounded by some tourists at one point 🙂 then headed over to the Indooroopilly Golf Club for their wedding photos and reception.
After some soulful talk of wildflowers, crazy golf buggy driving, a good ol’ wedding party grass fight and a little bit of golf, everybody headed into the warmth of the beautiful reception.
I loved being your wedding photographer guys!
Alice found us through a friend whose wedding we photographed way back 2007! Alice wanted a nice relaxed wedding, with no fuss. So she and and her girlfriends did their own hair and makeup, and casually got ready at Cedar Creek Lodges on Mt Tamborine, before heading a few minutes up the road to Albert River Wines for the wedding ceremony.
Albert River Wines is one of our favourite venues. There is such a great atmosphere there. Nothing busy or rushed, gorgeous animals running about, room to take a stroll, and in October when the Jacaranda trees come out it is unreal.
Andy and Alice, thanks for inviting us to photograph your wedding. It seemed as though your guest were having a ball, and we are glad we could capture these images so you can relive your wedding each time you look through your photos:)
