Cindy has been following our work for quite sometime, so we were looking forward to finally meeting her, and photographing her little family and baby bump.
Cindy wanted rainforest, Andrew wanted water, so we combined the two and had a great afternoon trooping around Mt Tamborine dodging the rain.
Their little guy is just the cutest, so I have probably included way too many photos, but it was just so hard cut it back!
It wasn’t raining! And isn’t this just the sweetest smile you have ever seen? 🙂
This gorgeous little family found us through some (totally awesome) friends whose wedding we shot a couple month back (I would add a link to them but we are so terribly behind on our wedding blogging! Lauren I will add it in when I finally catch up!)
Anyway, Andre and Katherine, we are glad you love your photos. It was a pleasure to meet you guys and your adorable little lady!
Today I am happy to share with you a delightful little family shoot! We have photographed Rachel and Drew a few times now over the years, first as a newlywed couple, then Rach as a new mum, and again now as their gorgeous girl Cassidy turns one and they look forward to expecting their second bub!
It was a crazy day! Torrential downpours, sunshine, light rain, clouds, the weather REALLY couldn’t decide what it was doing! Bub and I decided to tag along with Adam to the shoot and play in the puddles while Adam photographed Rach and Drew.
Drew and Rachels car pulled up and you guessed it… torrential rain!!! We waited for about 10 mins and decided to call it a quits. They drove off and we decided to go ahead with our plan of jumping in puddles (I’ll do a separate blog post on that one!)
We were happily playing (the rain had now stopped) and Rach and Drew pulled up and jumped out- they had noticed the rain had stopped and knew we would still be around. Here’s the results! What a fun little shoot
A couple years back we photographed Jessica’s wedding, so it was great to catch up again to photograph her and her sisters.
It was nice seeing you again Jess, you guys were so much fun to photograph
Sisters are the best invention don’t you think?
One of my besties from when I was a teenager contacted me recently to let me know that her mum had given her a photography gift card:) The perfect excuse to catch up!
It was so funny watching Adam photograph the girls, Talia and I couldn’t help but giggle the whole time. They really did not want to be photographed! It always amazes me photos he manages to get under such tricky situations. I’m sure Talia was absolutely blown away when she saw the results. The oldest girl (who looks like she is totally hamming it up to the camera) would turn her back on Adam whenever she would see him. It was hilarious! He really did have to work hard! But wasn’t it worth it
We are glad you love them! x
You can check out the gorgeous little album we created here.
Oh and the cute little ribbon wand was courtesy of Pinwheels and Pearls!
