Joel and Amanda were married at Amanda’s family property on Mt Tamborine. Everything was just gorgeous, lots of DIY fun touches, perfect weather, and lovely company (How cool is the jumping castle?! It was an absolute hit!)
Joel and Amanda it was a pleasure to be a part of your wedding!
Once again, the ceremony was preformed by Fiona from Marry-Me! (She will be no stranger to our blog over the next few months, she has officiated 6 weddings we have photographed over the last two months!- Woah. She is brilliant:)
Joel and Amanda were also recently featured on a gorgeous new wedding blog: Inspire me Weddings! Check it out!
Trent and Mia were married on Mount Tamborine- We love Mt Tamborine, it is such an amazing place for a wedding!
Whilst photographing Mia before the wedding, news came through from reception that the wedding cake had arrived… (strange looks, “The wedding cake is already here…?”). Trent and Mia had booked a cake maker for their wedding and he had apparently gone bust- they tried for weeks to contact him to no avail, and heard reports that cakes had not been delivered to a couple of his clients. They decided to cut their losses and got an amazing cake from Deliciously Decadent Cake Design. (Which is the beautiful cake you will see them cutting). So to cut a long story short… they had 2 wedding cakes! I’m pretty sure that is the best kind of wedding isn’t it?! The ones with copious amounts of cake… Yum!
The wedding was held at Cedar Creek Lodges and the photos were taken at the beautiful lookout at the top of Mt Tamborine
If you fancy, you can also check out Trent and Mia’s luminous wintery engagement session!
We are finally catching up on our wedding blogging (There are still 20 or so more weddings to be blogged from this year!)
Today we showcase the wedding of Adam and Sarah! They were married way back in September at Tamborine Gardens on Mt Tamborine. Their wedding was beautiful. We got along fantastically so the wedding day was so much fun (despite a run in with a grumpy farmer;)
Funnily enough, on the wedding day as the couple were getting ready, I was approached by the grooms mother who was asking if I remembered her… I racked my brain and couldn’t quite put my finger on it. She then told me that I had taken her family portrait many years ago, a family portrait that also included Adam (the groom) haha! Small world. At least I didn’t feel so bad seeing as Adam was also none the wiser that we had met before. It made for a good laugh. When I got home I worked it out- Adams family session was one of our first ever commissions- roughly 6 years ago!
I’ll leave you now to enjoy some of their wedding photos.
Anna and Sean’s wedding was glorious! We had been really looking forward to their wedding, especially after their spunky engagement shoot late last year. (You can see it here).
It was so much fun to photograph these two. It’s cheesy to say I know, but they just have the most gorgeous smiles! They are just so cute together!
Sean and Anna kept their wedding simple, with no bridal party giving us ample time to relax and enjoy the afternoon taking photos:) We love Mt Tamborine! It always changing and always beautiful.
PS. Isn’t it amazing the difference a dash of colour can make? They’ve managed to pull of a perfect mix of soft and dramatic. We LOVE it!
David and Donna booked us all the way from England. Donna is an Aussie living in England, and David is an Englishman.
Songbirds on Mt Tamborine created a stunning backdrop for the wedding, and we loved all the little personal touches these guys thought of.
It was great to be able to catch up and show you your photos in person before you jet-setted off back home. We are glad you love them and can wait to see the gorgeous images you pick for your album!
All the best!
