Charlie and Emma decided to rent a house for the week of their wedding. Living in North Queensland, and travelling to the Gold Coast for the celebrations, renting a home to spend time with loved ones was such a great decision! There was so much laughter from upstairs where the girls were getting ready, and downstairs where the lads were scrubbing up, and it made for such beautiful photographs of their morning wedding preparations, and I’m sure such great memories of time spend together.
Charlie had wanted to go bare foot to the wedding (considering it was 40degrees, it would not have been a bad idea!) but Emma didn’t like the idea… so Charlie decided to get creative hahah!
Yes these are the shoes he wore ALLLL day, and Emma was none the wiser until it was revealed at the Wedding reception. I don’t even know how he kept these on straight all day- that is some mad skills!!!
Leigh and Amanda contacted us saying that they were having an Alice and Wonderland themed wedding, and would love to have us photograph the event for them- needless to say, our interest was peeked, and we were rather excited
Their wedding day was absolutely amazing, not just because of the beautiful theming, but because of their gorgeous personalities and the obvious love between the two of them, and between their family and friends. They have killer smiles and they are not afraid to use them!
It was a pleasure to be a part of your wedding Leigh and Amanda, and we wish you all the best (and hope you are having a brilliant time in Africa!!!)

Scott and Amanda we referred to us by some friends who were photographed a couple of years back! They were married in a private mansion out the back of Tallai on the beautiful Gold Coast, over looking Hinze Dam. Their ceremony was just gorgeous as you can see, and you couldn’t wipe that smile off Amanda if you tried!
For their formal photos, the party headed down to Currumbin beach and on the way, stopped on the side of the road for some grassy goodness It was a gorgeous day, and I’ve pretty much picked WAY too many images to share!
Scott and Amanda, it was great to be a part of your wedding day!
Anna and Sean’s wedding was glorious! We had been really looking forward to their wedding, especially after their spunky engagement shoot late last year. (You can see it here).
It was so much fun to photograph these two. It’s cheesy to say I know, but they just have the most gorgeous smiles! They are just so cute together!
Sean and Anna kept their wedding simple, with no bridal party giving us ample time to relax and enjoy the afternoon taking photos:) We love Mt Tamborine! It always changing and always beautiful.
PS. Isn’t it amazing the difference a dash of colour can make? They’ve managed to pull of a perfect mix of soft and dramatic. We LOVE it!
Well, we can definitely say the wedding season has kicked off! We have so much to share, and apologize for a seemingly dry patch here on our blog. We have be keeping very busy!
Tonight I share with you another rainy day on the sunny Gold Coast! Kerri and Kyle were married at the lovely Royal Pines resort surrounded by close friends and family. The ceremony was originally planned to be an outdoor ceremony, but due a rather torrential rainy morning, the couple moved the ceremony indoors.
However, the rain didn’t deter these troopers at all! They happily ventured out armed with their trusty umbrellas. After a quick photo session, they headed back indoors to enjoy a buffet breakfast with their guests.
