You might remember Michael and Lindsay’s spunky engagement shoot from last winter. So cute!
We have been looking forward to photographing their wedding for quite some time and they didn’t disappoint! Their bridal party were an absolute crack up and the whole day was so much fun.
The wedding was held at the Broadway Chapel in Woolloongabba, then the reception took place at the amazing Tattersals Club in the Brisbane CDB.
We love recommending Fiona from Marry-Me as a wedding celebrant, she is fantastic! We found out that in their conversations with Fiona in the lead up to the wedding, she mentioned to them about some awesome teaching jobs available in Japan… Needless to say we now feel a little responsible for them packing up and heading off to Japan for a couple of years! (Sorry Mums!). We hope you guys have an amazing time!
We are very behind on wedding blogging! Sam and Bliss were married last year in Brisbane. Their wedding day was just gorgeous and it was an honour to take their photographs for them. I love how blissfully happy they are together!
After their ceremony at Kingdom Hall, we headed off to the Mt Cootha Botanic Gardens for a relaxed photoshoot. After that, it was off to their reception at Walkabout Creek in The Gap.
We love it when we cross paths again with our past clients! It is so exciting to be invited into their lives again to capture their growing little family’s About 4 years back, we first met Luke and Alison. We photographed their wedding. It was fun, and that was that!
A couple of months back, Alison contacted us to let us know they now have two beautiful girls and would like some family photos taken. We met down at a little park by their house for some relaxed portraits, then headed back to their home for a couple photos to finish the shoot off.
The first two images Alison has bought as beautiful big canvas’ for each girls rooms- they are going to look AMAZING on their walls! I’m so excited waiting for them to come back from the lab Also, I couldn’t resist tagging a couple of Luke and Alison’s wedding photos on the end (We didn’t have a blog way back then, so I can get away with it!;) (Can’t I?!).
Enjoy the cuteness!
Jerome and Belinda were married in the beautiful Graceville Uniting Church. It really was by (excuse the pun) grace of God they were able to marry there- As many of you Brisbane locals would know, Graceville was heavily flooded in the January floods. The Church was not touched! Yay! The reception venue they had planned to party in was not so fortunate. So last minute calls were made and a new venue found.
All the gorgeous parks around the area were also damaged and under repair so Adam headed out early to see what could be found. The location shoot pretty much took place in a random overgrown backyard- but turned out great. We love our adventurous couples!
Jerome and Belinda you two just look so radiant together! We wish you all the best as you start your new life as husband and wife
We are chuffed to announce our brand spanking new website! Our old website was good to us, but it was time to renovate once again. So keeping in theme with our (not so) new blog, we present our new website!
It has lots of lovely features like being able to use your keyboard arrows instead of having to click on next (ohhh!), BIG images, scrumptious testimonials from some of our gorgeous clients, more galleries and just general coolness
Check it out! www.deepgrey.com.au
And just so you know what we are on about if you haven’t looked at our actual website for a while, this is what our old website looked like:
