Jonathan and Eunice were married at Sirromet Wines a couple of months back. It was so great to catch up and spend some more time with them again after the fantastic time we had at their Engagement shoot!
Eunice opted not to have bridesmaids, but instead had her mum doting over her, which I always love. Mums are the best!
Their beautiful ceremony was officiated by Fiona from Marry-Me, then we headed off around the grounds of the winery for their formal wedding photos.
The reception was held in the Barrel room at Sirromet, and the gorgeous decorations and table centre pieces were by Miss Weddings.
We are looking forward to catching up in January to plan your gorgeous wedding album!
On the morning of Cisco and Susans wedding day, we awoke to the sound of rain. Not a pretty pitter-patter, but the kind of rain that puts fear in your heart for the wedding couple. It was POURING! Torrential kind of pouring! The umbrellas and cameras were packed in the car and off I set.
What happened next was nothing short of a blessing- talk about turning on the weather! By the time the wedding was set to start, there was no threat of rain whatsoever, just an amazingly fresh, vibrant colourful afternoon, ending in a clear starry night.
It’s funny how many people you can “bump” into at any given wedding, old friends, past bridesmaids. When meeting with Cisco and Susan after their wedding to share their photographs with them, they mentioned they also knew some faces from a couple of other weddings we have photographed recently. The world seems to get smaller and smaller the longer we are in business
It was a pleasure photographing your wedding guys, and we hope that you are enjoying pouring through all of your beautiful photographs.
Venue: Kooroomba Vineyard and Lavender Farm. Boonah- what an incredible venue!
Adam had been looking forward to photographing Pete and Lisa’s wedding for some time- Lisa’s smile is just contagious! Ever since she came across our work (through her girlfriend Louise who had booked us to shoot her wedding last year), she has been so excited about the photography aspect of her wedding (which we love!). Lisa it was delightful to meet you (ok I have only to date met you via email, but it has been a pleasure!)
Thanks for choosing Deep Grey to photograph your wedding We are looking forward to giving you your beautiful wedding album soon (it’s so much more exciting than viewing proofs on the computer hehe).
Kieran and Amy got married way back in 2010- yes, last year! Last year was massive for us, and keeping up with orders etc, we got a little behind on the old blog! We have now employed a lovely lady to help out with things we cannot quite get to – one of those things being picking images for all of our un-blogged weddings! Yay! So there should be a huge influx of wedding posts happening very soon. Up at number one, is Kieran and Amy
Kieran and Amy were married in the beautiful Brisbane City Botanical Gardens. Funnily enough Amy has a massive phobia of birds- hence the little signs all around the ceremony- (the photo with the duck makes me laugh every time I see it!). The ceremony was preformed by Fiona from Marry-Me.
They then headed off to the Brisbane Powerhouse for their reception. The emotion at their wedding was rather electric, I love how these two interact with one another.. They are so tender towards each other, which really came through in their wedding photos
Beau and Laurens wedding was dotted with people we had crossed paths with! Nathaniel and Tenille, who’s wedding Adam photographed last year, Murray a random groomsman from Francis and Laurens Emerald wedding, and the lovely Bayleigh, who did some photography work for us a couple of years back (There were others that I can’t think of off the top of my head too!)
Beau and Lauren were married in a beautiful ceremony overlooking the Brisbane River at the Toowong Rowing Club. The wedding
photographs were taken locally to the club and then they headed back to the club for their reception. The amazing flowers and styling was by Flowers of the World (They don’t seem to have a website, but they can be found on Grey St in Southbank).
Lauren told Adam that it had never crossed her mind to wear a short wedding dress until a friend convinced her to “just try it on”. She relented and fell in love! Doesn’t she look amazing?! Laurens wedding makeup was done by a good friend who has her own business Coulture Makeup Artistry. Her was styled by “Hair by Shani”.
Beau and Lauren it was a pleasure to be a part of your wedding day! We wish you all the best in your life together
