Kieran and Amy got married way back in 2010- yes, last year! Last year was massive for us, and keeping up with orders etc, we got a little behind on the old blog! We have now employed a lovely lady to help out with things we cannot quite get to – one of those things being picking images for all of our un-blogged weddings! Yay! So there should be a huge influx of wedding posts happening very soon. Up at number one, is Kieran and Amy
Kieran and Amy were married in the beautiful Brisbane City Botanical Gardens. Funnily enough Amy has a massive phobia of birds- hence the little signs all around the ceremony- (the photo with the duck makes me laugh every time I see it!). The ceremony was preformed by Fiona from Marry-Me.
They then headed off to the Brisbane Powerhouse for their reception. The emotion at their wedding was rather electric, I love how these two interact with one another.. They are so tender towards each other, which really came through in their wedding photos
Jonathan and Lilly were married in the beautiful Byron hinterland, at Peppers Coorabell Retreat. Jonathan and Lilly wanted a really intimate wedding surrounded by the people they love. And that’s what they had
Their wedding ceremony was so beautifully heartfelt (as you can see). It was a bit drizzly on the day, so we headed out for a quick photo shoot after the ceremony and headed back early to their reception to party!
Just like most weddings, Jonathan and Lilly’s was not without a drama or two. Their girlfriend who created their gorgeous wedding cake wrote her car off on the way to the wedding (she was ok!) but the cake was a little worse for ware- on arriving at the venue, she jumped in the kitchen and reworked the cake- and no one was any wiser. It looked beautiful!
Jonathan and Lilly it was a pleasure to be a part of your wedding day.
Jerome and Belinda were married in the beautiful Graceville Uniting Church. It really was by (excuse the pun) grace of God they were able to marry there- As many of you Brisbane locals would know, Graceville was heavily flooded in the January floods. The Church was not touched! Yay! The reception venue they had planned to party in was not so fortunate. So last minute calls were made and a new venue found.
All the gorgeous parks around the area were also damaged and under repair so Adam headed out early to see what could be found. The location shoot pretty much took place in a random overgrown backyard- but turned out great. We love our adventurous couples!
Jerome and Belinda you two just look so radiant together! We wish you all the best as you start your new life as husband and wife
Lucas and Sarah are getting married in a few months in our Beautiful Brisbane, and decided they would like to hit the streets close to their chosen wedding venue for their engagement shoot. It was an extremely hot sunny afternoon, so how could we resist stopping for some ice-cream? Yum!
See you again in May!
