Jonathan and Eunice were married at Sirromet Wines a couple of months back. It was so great to catch up and spend some more time with them again after the fantastic time we had at their Engagement shoot!
Eunice opted not to have bridesmaids, but instead had her mum doting over her, which I always love. Mums are the best!
Their beautiful ceremony was officiated by Fiona from Marry-Me, then we headed off around the grounds of the winery for their formal wedding photos.
The reception was held in the Barrel room at Sirromet, and the gorgeous decorations and table centre pieces were by Miss Weddings.
We are looking forward to catching up in January to plan your gorgeous wedding album!
We have shot quite a few Asian weddings over the years, and each time we do we remember why we love them so much. Firstly, the games! The groom has to bribe is way into the brides house, once her maids have accepted his offering (which usually involves completely embarrassing himself by completing a series of silly tasks) he is then let into the house, and the bride is presented by her father. The tea ceremony is now ready to begin…
After a couple of tea ceremonies at different homes around Brisbane, it was time to get ready for the white wedding which was held at the beautiful Sirromet in Mt Cotton. If you remember, it kinda started raining in October and has barely stopped since! This particular day, the rain was so heavy the outdoor ceremony had to be relocated inside to Sirromet’s Barrel Room, which even though it was not as Ian and Tina had pictured their wedding day, was absolutely lovely.
I love all the colour, the multiple dresses and the traditions. (And with this wedding, the details! Ian and Tina didn’t leave anything spared, every little detail was just perfect).
We had a great time getting completely soaked and making pretty pictures for you to remember your day by. Guys it was great to meet you and share your wedding day with you. We really enjoyed it, you were awesome!
I hope you enjoy looking through this mammoth blog post- it ought to be big- There is 16 or so hours worth of photography right there!
If your keen, feel free to check out Ian and Tina’s engagement shoot too!
Rain doesn’t have to be a dampener on your wedding day. Will and Alicia proved that! It was a rather rainy day, but the couple rocked it out and came prepared to stomp through the puddles, and make their wedding the best day ever It really was so much fun- as you will see!
Alicia went to a lot of effort for everything to be perfect. Pink roses and crystals everywhere (aren’t the hanging rose posies just amazing!).
As a throw back to their engagement shoot, I just had to include the gorgeous little wallaby that came out to say hello.
The wedding was held at the Lagoona at Sirromet Winery, and the reception was upstairs in the restaurant.
Oh and keep an eye out for their wedding video preview on the Motion Art blog. Wedding Styled by Alicia & Imbue Weddings.
