This post is WAAAAY overdue, so Lauren, I hope it was worth the wait!

Back in September we flew into Emerald to photograph Francis and Laurens wedding. We had an absolute ball and were treated like family Smile Thanks for inviting us along to enjoy a meal with your family and friends, and for choosing us to photograph your wedding.

As we stepped off the plane onto the tarmac in Emerald we almost fainted- it was HOT. Lauren assured us there was rain forecast for the wedding day, so we dragged along our brollies and it was a good thing we did. In keeping with their engagement shoot tradition, we present you another beautifully rainy wedding day.

Emerald Wedding Photography

Drew and Rachel + 1.5

Today I am happy to share with you a delightful little family shoot! We have photographed Rachel and Drew a few times now over the years, first as a newlywed couple, then Rach as a new mum, and again now as their gorgeous girl Cassidy turns one and they look forward to expecting their second bub!

It was a crazy day! Torrential downpours, sunshine, light rain, clouds, the weather REALLY couldn’t decide what it was doing! Bub and I decided to tag along with Adam to the shoot and play in the puddles while Adam photographed Rach and Drew.

Drew and Rachels car pulled up and you guessed it… torrential rain!!! We waited for about 10 mins and decided to call it a quits. They drove off and we decided to go ahead with our plan of jumping in puddles Open-mouthed smile (I’ll do a separate blog post on that one!)

We were happily playing (the rain had now stopped) and Rach and Drew pulled up and jumped out- they had noticed the rain had stopped and knew we would still be around. Here’s the results! What a fun little shoot Smile
