Dave and Kate were married at the beautiful Albert River Wines at the base of Mt Tamborine. It was such an amazing day!

Kate and her girlfriends got ready on Mt Tamborine, surrounded by loose flowers, and a few feathered spectators. The girls were putting together their bouquets as we arrived – too clever! They looked incredible Smile

It was such an honour to be at your wedding Kate! (Kate and Fiona were friends way back in High School, so we were delighted when she asked us to photograph her wedding). We had the best day and still can’t get over the amazing sunshine you were blessed with on your wedding day… It was pretty much perfect- as are the two of you together. Nawwww.

Andy and Alice

Alice found us through a friend whose wedding we photographed way back 2007! Alice wanted a nice relaxed wedding, with no fuss. So she and and her girlfriends did their own hair and makeup, and casually got ready at Cedar Creek Lodges on Mt Tamborine, before heading a few minutes up the road to Albert River Wines for the wedding ceremony.

Albert River Wines is one of our favourite venues. There is such a great atmosphere there. Nothing busy or rushed, gorgeous animals running about, room to take a stroll, and in October when the Jacaranda trees come out it is unreal.

Andy and Alice, thanks for inviting us to photograph your wedding. It seemed as though your guest were having a ball, and we are glad we could capture these images so you can relive your wedding each time you look through your photos:)

Something I’ve noticed at a few weddings lately, is the bride and groom dancing as soon as they walk into the reception. A little break in tradition, and a fantastic way to kick off the party!

Adam and Sarah

We are finally catching up on our wedding blogging (There are still 20 or so more weddings to be blogged from this year!)

Today we showcase the wedding of Adam and Sarah! They were married way back in September at Tamborine Gardens on Mt Tamborine. Their wedding was beautiful. We got along fantastically so the wedding day was so much fun (despite a run in with a grumpy farmer;)

Funnily enough, on the wedding day as the couple were getting ready, I was approached by the grooms mother who was asking if I remembered her… I racked my brain and couldn’t quite put my finger on it. She then told me that I had taken her family portrait many years ago, a family portrait that also included Adam (the groom) haha! Small world. At least I didn’t feel so bad seeing as Adam was also none the wiser that we had met before. It made for a good laugh. When I got home I worked it out- Adams family session was one of our first ever commissions- roughly 6 years ago!

Sean and Anna

Anna and Sean’s wedding was glorious! We had been really looking forward to their wedding, especially after their spunky engagement shoot late last year. (You can see it here).

It was so much fun to photograph these two. It’s cheesy to say I know, but they just have the most gorgeous smiles! They are just so cute together!

Sean and Anna kept their wedding simple, with no bridal party giving us ample time to relax and enjoy the afternoon taking photos:) We love Mt Tamborine! It always changing and always beautiful.

PS. Isn’t it amazing the difference a dash of colour can make? They’ve managed to pull of a perfect mix of soft and dramatic. We LOVE it!
