So Dave and Kate you say? Yes, this is our third “Dave and Kate” couple we have photographed a wedding for- it seems the names are just made for each other. Somehow we didn’t notice until a few weeks ago, they also shared the same last name as one of our other favourite “Dave and Kate” couples which gave us a bit of a laugh!!!
So here we are, playing catch up again. Dave and Kate were married back in January, and we can’t wait to share some of their pretty pictures, but everything in order! First here are some of their beautiful engagement photos we took late last year on a warm summers afternoon on the Gold Coast. Dave’s gorgeous son stole the spotlight in a few photos too- what a cutie!
Fiona and Kate used to work together years ago at Photo Continental when Kate was still in high school, so it was so lovely to get the call to say she was getting married and wanted Deep Grey to photograph her wedding! Kate is such a sweetheart – it was an honour to photograph these two tie the knot!
I love the variety in this shoot- Dave and Jess came to us referred by their friends Kiel and Janine and had complete trust in us from the onset. They came to the shoot with a couple of gorgeous wardrobe changes, and despite the freezing cold, rocked it out bare foot! Love it.
We powered around Mt Tamborine taking photos in a few different locations and ended up at the lookout for some wispy windy silhouettes. Thanks for being troopers
We can’t wait for the wedding!
A couple of years back, Leigh and her sister organised a beautiful shoot for her parents as a mothers day gift to her mum. She had found us through her friend Kylie, who you may remember When Ben and Leigh met with us to discuss their wedding, we also found out they were friends of Matt and Rochelle, who we photographed quite some years back! It’s always such an honour knowing that our past wedding clients have been happy with our photography and send their friends our way! Thanks guys!
Ben and Leigh decided they wanted something scenic for their engagement shoot, and chose to have photos taken up at beautiful Mt Tamborine. After all the rainy days we’ve had, it was very exciting when the sun decided to come out to play! We are glad you love your photos guys, and we are eagerly anticipating receiving them from the lab- we can’t wait to give them to you!
