We are photographing Ryan and Melissa’s wedding in a couple of months time, and Melissa contacted us to arrange to have family photos taken with her beautiful Mum, Deborah for her birthday. As Ryan and Melissa live in Airlie Beach, this was also the only time we were really able to take any photos of the two of them prior to the wedding… so we took some family photos all together, then headed off with just Ryan and Melissa for a couple of photos to celebrate their engagement
Enjoy!

Another wild afternoon with amazing storm clouds looming in the air.
We love this session. You guys are so gorgeous together
We are looking forward to giving you your mounts, as they are going to look so great up on your walls!

Well, to say this was interesting afternoon would be an understatement! The lead up was intense!
As Scott works out of town, there was only one afternoon window of opportunity for the engagement shoot to happen. A couple hours before the shoot a storm started brewing so we rescheduled a little earlier, and figured (as with the storm comes traffic) we should head off early and hope for the best with the weather!
Frantic text messages from Kellie (replied to with my vain attempts to reassure it would be awesome) that the storm was getting worse, and the realisation that Adam, Scott and Kellie were ALL stuck in traffic, it was rather dark and the rain was absolutely pouring!
…To cut a long story short, we managed to convince them to keep driving, and all arriving about 15mins after the original start time, the rain had cleared and the most glorious light had taken it’s place (backed of course by moody sunlit clouds) Ohhhhh!
Needless to say, it all worked out in the end:) I love happy endings- and pretty pictures!

This shoot is a bit of a throw back! Adam photographed Nat and Tenille quite a few months ago now. If you remember back in March, we had a couple weeks where the sun decided to hide her face. This day was no exception, and storm clouds rolled in for the afternoon making it windy cold and rather dark… as we all know, Queenslander don’t know how to drive in the rain;) so there was loads of traffic! All in all, the weather allowed for around 20mins of shooting time!
Lucky for Adam, Nat and Tenille were relaxed and ready to roll (and dressed awesomely- how cute is Tenilles dress?!)
See you guys in a Month or so- we’re looking forward to the wedding!
