Joel and Amanda were married at Amanda’s family property on Mt Tamborine. Everything was just gorgeous, lots of DIY fun touches, perfect weather, and lovely company (How cool is the jumping castle?! It was an absolute hit!)
Joel and Amanda it was a pleasure to be a part of your wedding!
Once again, the ceremony was preformed by Fiona from Marry-Me! (She will be no stranger to our blog over the next few months, she has officiated 6 weddings we have photographed over the last two months!- Woah. She is brilliant:)
Joel and Amanda were also recently featured on a gorgeous new wedding blog: Inspire me Weddings! Check it out!
A true sign that I am well behind in our blogging! Rob and Courtney had their engagement photo shoot way back in March. (They have since had their wedding which I will endeavour to blog soon!) Rob and Courtney were only in town for a couple of days, so the only time we could find a time where we were both available was early one Friday morning. It was a bit brisk, but clear and beautiful! We had a great time trooping around the City streets having a laugh and taking some photos Enjoy!
Alice found us through a friend whose wedding we photographed way back 2007! Alice wanted a nice relaxed wedding, with no fuss. So she and and her girlfriends did their own hair and makeup, and casually got ready at Cedar Creek Lodges on Mt Tamborine, before heading a few minutes up the road to Albert River Wines for the wedding ceremony.
Albert River Wines is one of our favourite venues. There is such a great atmosphere there. Nothing busy or rushed, gorgeous animals running about, room to take a stroll, and in October when the Jacaranda trees come out it is unreal.
Andy and Alice, thanks for inviting us to photograph your wedding. It seemed as though your guest were having a ball, and we are glad we could capture these images so you can relive your wedding each time you look through your photos:)
I love the excitement in Alice’s face in this image!
Then to turn around and seeing her dad, sister, bestie and even the Priest looking just as excited almost topped it:D
Something I’ve noticed at a few weddings lately, is the bride and groom dancing as soon as they walk into the reception. A little break in tradition, and a fantastic way to kick off the party!
And last but not least, look at the amazing view of Mt Tamborine from Albert River Wines! So phenomenal.
