This family were a joy to photograph. The little man of the house was cute as a button and so full of spunk! We love capturing these little people in their wild abandon and playful energy.
This beautiful couple asked us to capture some special engagement portraits for them, and we are so glad they did! It was such a magical afternoon on the sunshine coast, finding light in the forest and then watching the sunset on a grassy hill in Maleny. What engagement photo dreams are made of!

Katie and Gerard chose to elope- only instead of keeping it a complete secret, they invited their immediate families to join them.
Katie looked so incredible in her lace sleeved gown and her stunning hair and make-up by The Powder Room.
After their marriage at the registry office, we took a stroll together to the Brisbane botanical gardens for some gorgeous couple photos before heading back to their reception dinner in the spunky Blackbird Restaurants Champagne Room on Eagle Street Pier.
(PS we were stoked to find a gorgeous bus stop “sprinkled with fun”! The slogan just complimented Katie and Gerards happy personalities so well )
We loved Gerard and Katies engagement shoot and Wedding! I’m itching to post some photos from their wedding on our blog- but thought I had better show off their engagement photos too
Even though we battled against overcast weather in the forest and an accident on the Bruce highway that clogged up the mountain roads (craaazy traffic jam!!!). We watched the sun come out and then set on the way up the hill, but we still managed to capture a little of the sky’s fading colour in amongst a couple of wedding parties on the famous One Tree Hill in Maleny haha:)
It was such a lovely afternoon and Gerard and Katie were such good sports, and amongst all the drama still had gorgeous smiles on their faces!
So not too long ago, this spunky couple came in and met with us, and decided to book us in for a couples shoot at the beach.
The day of their photo shoot was a little bit cloudy and a little but sunny. What we didn’t expect, is that a rainbow would come to visit, for, well, pretty much the entire shoot! Normally if you are crazy lucky, a rainbow will touch down for a couple of minutes and you have to run like mad people to catch it in a photo or two- not this time! Looking at the time the photos were shot- between the first photo and last rainbow photo was a whopping 45 minutes (happy dance!)
(I love that this crazy silhouette is now hanging as a beautiful piece of art in their home)
