Michael and Tegan

After a slight hiccup on our original plan to shoot at Mt Tamborine, we rescheduled and chose to go somewhere a little closer to home instead:) (I think It worked out for the best in the end- I’m in love with all the golden hues AND Tegans outfit. Lovely!)

Tegan, I know you said you nearly shrieked when you saw the teaser I sent though, and Adam happily confirmed you were delightfully slapping Michael, and yes, shrieking when you saw your photos hehe. We are glad you loved them!

We’re looking forward to next August! (I just realised that you engagement shoot was a day off your future wedding date – that is actually pretty cool:)

Sai and Zar

Sai called us wanting to arrange to have some photos taken with his girlfriend Za (What a good guy:)! They decided to have their shoot up in the City and chose Roma St Parklands as the location.

It was lovely to meet you guys (and your friends:) All the best!

Adam and Sarah

Adam really enjoyed photographing Adam and Sarah a couple months back up Mt Tamborine. We love how our job puts us in contact with so many cool couples. We love meeting new people and getting a glimpse into their love stories. Yeah that’s soppy, but it’s true. There is nothing more satisfying than capturing a couples love in a photograph for them to enjoy.

You guys are awesome! We are looking forward to your wedding next month:)

Kim and Nathalie

We had a lovely surprise a couple of weeks back when Kim and Nathalie contacted us after 3 years to let us know they love their photos, and had decided they wanted to get a wedding album:)

As Adam went through their images with them, there were so many they had forgotten about! Yes, they had a CD, but that really doesn’t compare with having an album you can cosy up on the couch and look through with your kids in 20 years time.

As I’ve been looking through their photos designing their album, I just can’t help but reminisce a little! Sooo here we go! It really was one of the most beautiful heart felt weddings we’ve ever attended. It was small and intimate. The people were gorgeous, the venue (The Fig Tree Restaurant) was just beautiful and for dinner, everyone sat together at a long table that stretched the room. Couple that with Byron Bay to play in for the wedding shoot how could any of it go wrong? (And it was a mid week wedding- they always seem so much more relaxed, I think because everyone is in holiday mode perhaps?)

You will see in the images below the amazing rain cloud that came over during the photo shoot. It absolutely poured at the venue while we were out taking photos- we didn’t see a drop of it!

And now for some pictures 2007 style:) (Lots of them!).

One of the Groomsmen was a Monk! Unique I must say- below he is blessing the couples wedding rings:)

The Celebrant was Anthea Amore- we have worked with her a few times since then, she is lovely.

The groomsmen may or may not be peeing … This shot makes me laugh- I think its the modesty screen that does it for me!

This shot still makes me laugh when I see it too, love the random groomsmen, and Nathalie’s embarrassment.

At this point I thought our career as wedding photographers was over- the cows came running over and we pretty much thought we were going to die. Back safely on the OUTSIDE of the fence, we managed to have a laugh about it. Eip!
