Greg and Karen

Greg and Karen flew in for a couple of days over Christmas, so we took the opportunity to finally meet them in person, and take some engagement photos!

These have been a little slow to feature on our blog, but I figured seeing as I’m about to post their wedding, I should first start with sharing some of their engagement images. They were our last official shoot of 2009.

Wedding to follow!

Little Maestro

Ok ok so is he not just the cutest kid out?! I guess I am bias on this one… Nana requested a new image for her wall, so here it is!

We still can’t believe our baby boy is one! So yes, he has been for a month already, but it still amazes us (like every parent with their child I’m sure) how clever he is. He is such a delight!

Even before he was born, he seemed to have a love for music. He was not an overly active baby in the womb, but one day a friend invited me to the Opera and he literally boogied the whole 3 hours around my tum. It was an amazing experience.

As soon as he could crawl, the first toy he would race to when he got out of bed was his xylophone, and he couldn’t be happier then when he is sitting on Grandmas knee whilst she plays the piano for him. It only seemed natural that for his first birthday we should buy him a piano. Yes it is only a toy, but he loves it!

Adam took him out a few weeks back and took this gorgeous picture. I adore it, and it will soon be enormous and proudly hanging on my wall:) I can’t wait!

Look at him getting into it!

Kyle and Keri

Well, we can definitely say the wedding season has kicked off! We have so much to share, and apologize for a seemingly dry patch here on our blog. We have be keeping very busy!

Tonight I share with you another rainy day on the sunny Gold Coast! Kerri and Kyle were married at the lovely Royal Pines resort surrounded by close friends and family. The ceremony was originally planned to be an outdoor ceremony, but due a rather torrential rainy morning, the couple moved the ceremony indoors.

However, the rain didn’t deter these troopers at all! They happily ventured out armed with their trusty umbrellas. After a quick photo session, they headed back indoors to enjoy a buffet breakfast with their guests.

Delish!

Francis and Lauren

I’ve been excited to share this shoot with you all. Lauren and Francis came to us through a promotion we are running with “Invite with Style“. For all of her Brisbane – Gold Coast  clients, Anna offers a complimentary $150 Gift card for Deep Grey! Cool huh?

Lauren called me a couple of hours before the shoot worried it might rain I assured her, “it only rains for 20mins in Brisbane, we will be fine!” (Secretly inside I was hoping it would pour and we would get something a little different) We get to the park and it is pretty much torrential rain… YES! It’s not too long before Lauren is ripping out her hair, Francis has ditched the umbrella and the fun has begun!

Thanks guys for being so awesome and up for anything! (Even lying down and almost drowning by raindrops). We got quite a few strange looks I might add, but it was worth it!
