Adam recently flew to NZ and while there, met up with Australian born artist Lisa Black, and photographed some of her recent creations.

I LOVE her gilded butterflies. Check out her website here for purchasing, and more information on these gorgeous accessories. I would love to see a bridal party decked out in this amazing jewellery.

Lisa also has a darker side to her work, quite different to her feminine butterfly’s. She combines organic and man made materials in a way that will definitely make your house guests stop and stare!

This year at the San Diego Comic-con she will be debuting, “Departed”, the Vervet monkey skull which is made from a genuine skull, antique clock/watch parts, mixed metal components.

Little Cassidy

Years ago we photographed Dru and Rachel who had recently been married, how delightful years later to capture their precious little daughter!

This shoot was a mummy-daughter shoot, and we are looking forward to photographing the whole family in the not too distant future.

Invite with Style

A week or so ago, we met with the lovely Anna from Invite with Style to photograph some of her amazing stationary.

If you have picked up a copy of this months Cosmopolitan Bride, you may have already heard of this gorgeous brand. Cosmo suggests you “Get this look”, and I tend to agree!!!

Anna also specialises in custom artwork, so if you love her style, but don’t see something that matches your theme, don’t be deterred. Anna will happily create something amazing and unique just for you.

If you have something to announce, like the birth of your new baby, your wedding or have a party you need some rockin’ invites for, Anna is your woman! I am pretty much hooked on her work, and am considering becoming a party thrower, just so I can indulge:)

Aarahi and Candice

Ok, so these guys were our first ever New Zealand wedding, to say we were excited was a little bit of an understatement! We LOVE New Zealand and have always wanted to photograph a wedding there. It seems when it rains it pores (yes it did rain on the wedding day, but that was to be expected!) and we are now the official photographers for 3 weddings in NZ this year. One down, two to go:)

Adam flew out mid week to shoot their Thursday wedding, flew back Friday, and was hitting the streets of Brisbane on the Saturday for another gorgeous Brisbane wedding.

Aarahi and Candice were married in the Latter-Day Saint Temple in Hamilton, then took some gorgeous photos around the Temple grounds and surrounding farms. The party then headed off to the Hamilton Gardens (which are amazing!) for some group photos, but no sooner had they arrived it absolutely POURED! Needless to say, they retreated to their reception overlooking the Waikato river, a little earlier then expected.

One of the great things about summer in New Zealand, is the sun doesn’t set until around 10pm! So After their reception, Adam, Aarahi and Candice headed off on a bit of a road trip west to find some rolling hills… they didn’t have to travel too far, and after jumping a fence cough* found the perfect location!
